Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport

The official Opening of the Sports fields, that was funded by Department of Public Works Road and Transport. The process was well managed by Principal and capable School Governing Body, and this has given learners and educators opportunity to enhance talent of learners in various Sporting Codes.




Gauteng Cricket Board

Equipment for Mini Cricket donated by Gauteng Cricket Board. We therefore thank the Cricket board for allowing our learners opportunity to participate extensively in cricket.




Nutrition Research Project

One of the educators Mrs Mohapi feeding needy learners in a project funded by Britain through community based integrated Nutrition Research Project for the disadvantaged community of Eatonside. Setlabotjha is a welcome relief to learners and community since it is the only Government Institution / Development in the area.



Vaal University of Technology

The food Nutrition Department from Vaal University of Technology has donated garden tools and seedlings. Educators, learners and community were encourage to participate in the programme. Feeding Scheme is then supplemented with Vegetables from the food Gardens.



Department of Public Works

The governance body applied for funds from Public Works through community based Public Works programmer. R1,6 million was deposited into the school account to manage the construction of the 1st phase of school. We then applied for funds for skills development programmed from department of labour. Members of the community were then send to training Sedibeng College to acquire skills for the construction of school in the following fields:

  • Brick layer
  • Electrical connection
  • Plumbing
  • Paving

  • After acquired the skills they were then employed to build the school. "Sense of ownership was encouraged". The school was then completed, and hand over was conducted. The 24 members that acquired skills through this project where then given Certificates, and are today safely employed in their various employment places.



    National Lottery

    Combi Court donated by National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund. This was also done through the effort of committed and dedicated School Governing Body and the Principal.
